Israel Action Committee
When three Israeli Soldiers were kidnapped over the summer of 2006, and bombs starting reigning down on the North of Israel from Hezbollah, the Israel Action Committee identified 5 organizations and set a goal of raising $50,000 for them ASAP. The original letter is here . Because of the fabulous response of the congregation and the significant needs for funds for rehabilitation and reconstruction, the goal was expanded to $100,000. Our campaign has now ended, and we donated $101,261 to our 5 organizations.
