A Word About Computers
While we recognize that computers have many advantages, they do not foster socialization. Research has proven that home usage can be beneficial in the preschool years. At this time, it is not recommended in programs where children are being taught to share, socialize, develop individual self-esteem. Cognitively, children can learn through manipulative and age appropriate hands on activities. We recommend an enrichment program after nursery school for computers, such as Faith Kavy’s Kid’s Karousel program.
