Periodically, CSI has special programming on Shabbat.

In the fall we enjoy an ethnic Shabbat. Last year we had an Italian Shabbat. This year we are planning an Indian Shabbat for November 19.

In February, we invite a scholar in residence to spend Shabbat with us and we have family retreat.

In March we have Shabbat-Across-America. which is a nationwide program that emphasizes how Shabbat celebration unites us all together as Jews.

We have a monthly Family Shabbat where all the children whose birthday is in that month get honored on the Bimah

Shabbat Without Walls is another beautiful evening. During the warmer months, when we are able, we lift the “garage” doors and have a refreshing open-air ceremony.

Throughout the year we continue to celebrate all aspects of our congregation by having special services for each one of the grade levels in our religious school. We honor our Ramah campers and hold a special service for our college kids when they are back home from school.
